Shenzhen MSU-BIT University is a non-profithigher education institution with an independent status of legal entity. Located in Shenzhen Guangdong, it is cofounded byM. V. Lomonosov Moscow State University and Beijing Institute of Technology, and invested by Shenzhen Municipal People’s Government. Approved by the Ministry of Education for its formal establishment in October, 2016, the University is the first Sino-foreign Cooperative University in China which introduces the superior educational resources of the Russian Federation.
The University aims to be a unique, comprehensive, world-class university, offering elite education and maintaining the high standards of research. It is committed to train high-quality talents for Chinese-Russian strategic cooperation and regional economic and social development.
In 2017, the University plans to recruit graduate students for 4 majors, namely:
Educational Program “Russian language and literature”
Educational Program “Applied Mathematics and Computer Science”
Educational Program “Chemistry, Physics and Mechanics of Materials”
Educational Program “Economics”
*Applicant can choose several (from 1 to 3) Educational Programs from this Group. Educational Programs should be prioritized on the Application Form, if more than one Program is chosen.
2. Duration andAwarding of Degrees
The duration of Bachelor program is 4 academic years.
SMBU current educational mode and curriculum are based on the standards of Moscow State University (MSU). University courses are taught mainly byMSU professors and teachers.
Upon the successful completion of the University student receives SMBU diploma with a Bachelor degree.
A diploma with a Bachelor degree issued byM. V. Lomonosov Moscow State University is awarded after the completion of the Bachelor degree requirements, receiving full credits and successful thesis defense, meeting degree requirement of M. V. Lomonosov Moscow State University. The diploma can be authenticated by Ministry of Education of China.
3. Tuition fee
The tuition is RMB 40,000/year (excluding costs of accommodation and books).
4. Formation of the total Entrance Examination score for foreign citizens
Admission is conducted in accordance with the MSU Admission rules 2017.
The University will admit the best applicants among the competitors based on the result of the Entrance examination.
Entrance examination consists of two written exams in Russian language with the Chinese captions (Examination in the major subject and Russian Language Ability Test) and is graded on a 100-point scale.The list of exams with the exams priority is in the Annex I to this Notice.

SMBU receives application documents via email@example.com from 27 April 2017.
Documents should be compressed into one .RAR file or .ZIP file, and name it “Applicant’s Name + Group No”. Applicants must prioritize the Educational programs in the specified gap on the Application form. Application form can be uploaded on the University web-page http://szmsubit.edu.cn.

Applicant must arrive at list a day before Entrance examination (in accordance with the Schedule of Admission committee uploaded on the Joint University web-page) and submit the following documents:
ØPersonal application to MSU (sent personally to each applicant by SZMB after receiving online application)
ØPhotos: in JPEG, 30mm*40mm, 200px*280px, no more than 30kb(no headware, made on matt surface paper )
Joint University will provide a transliteration of the applicant’s name and surname into Russian. Applicant should sign the Protocol of Consent to the fixed transliteration of applicant's name and surname upon arriving at the Joint University to submit the MSU Application in person. Applicant commits himself to make sure that the name and surname in the notarized translations of all documents submitted to the Admission committee will comply with this Protocol.
The admitted candidates should submit the following documents after the name list of the admitted applicants will be announced but nor later then17:00 31 August, 2017:
ØEnrollment Consent to study on a particular Educational Program
ØNotarized translation into Russian of thepersonal identification documents, confirming applicant’s identity and nationality
ØDiploma or School Leaving Certificate and official copy of the academic record: the originals and copies with the notarized translation into Russian
Name list of the admitted candidates will be announced at the official website of Shenzhen MSU-BIT University (http://www.szmsubit.edu.cn/). Candidates will be enrolled to bothSMBUand MSU upon fulfillment of all necessary conditions, including submitting necessary abovementioned documents and paying tuition fee for the first year of studies toSMBUnot later then 17.00 31 August 2017.
The candidates admitted to SMBU will be enrolled by MSU in accordance with the SMBU Enrollment numbers and MSU rules and procedures.
The candidates not admitted to SMBUdrop out of the further competition.
Personal data of the applicant will be entered into the MSU AIS databases directly after receiving the application. The transborder transfer of personal data to Moscow will be conducted in in accordance with the legislation of the Russian Federation.
